Special Education - Instructional Resources
The special education
program aims to transform the existing instructional and communication lab into
a resource center, offering sensory tools and adaptive learning materials for
teachers to borrow and implement with their students. Funds raised will be
allocated directly to purchasing instructional resources, assistive technology,
and adaptive tools to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral
development of students. The goal is to enhance collaboration between public
schools and teacher education programs while providing support to both
pre-service and in-service teachers in addressing the unique needs of their
students.
