Speech Sound Disorders Lab, where traditional treatment methodologies and
state-of-the-art biofeedback technology to maximize our clients’ benefit will
be incorporated. An essential part of the lab is the Phillips Lumify portable
ultrasound. Ultrasound can be used in speech-language therapy for those with
persistent speech sound difficulties and childhood apraxia of speech, as well
as for adults with a history of tongue or mouth cancer and oral phase
dysphagia. The Phillips Lumify portable ultrasound is easy to use, portable,
and clinician friendly.
