You Bring Impact to Life

Your Gifts in Action.

You prepared future nurses for real-world care through immersive, high-fidelity simulation. By supporting a simulation center designed to mirror real clinical environments, you gave nursing students a safe, hands-on space to develop critical skills and sound clinical judgment using advanced patient simulators and medical equipment.

You honored a legacy of creativity and mentorship by supporting a new scholarship for art students in memory of former Minot State professor Floyd Fairweather. Through this endowed scholarship, you made a lasting investment in students inspired by Floyd’s passion for art, global perspective, and commitment to teaching.

You strengthened clinical confidence for future speech-language pathologists through technology-enhanced simulation. By creating two dedicated simulation learning rooms, you gave graduate students the opportunity to practice essential skills in structured, realistic clinical scenarios—building the knowledge, experience, and confidence needed for professional practice.

You prepared future educators through hands-on collaboration with experienced teachers while uplifting young readers by supporting the Early Literacy Camp for kindergarten and first-grade students—providing twice-weekly, small-group literacy sessions that strengthened reading skills and fostered positive attitudes toward learning, creating meaningful impact in classrooms and communities.

You elevated the performance experience by supporting the upgrade of MSU Summer Theatre’s sound equipment. Your generosity replaced old microphones with modern, efficient models, installed speakers in the dressing rooms so performers could stay connected to the action on stage, and upgraded the soundboard to manage the unique acoustics of the outdoor amphitheater.

You equipped and empowered student-athletes by supporting the purchase of new gloves and helmets for women’s hockey. As current equipment reached the end of its lifecycle, your generosity ensured athletes had safe, reliable gear designed to complement team uniforms while supporting peak performance.

You supported local students through the Hometown Pride Scholarship, a $1,000 award created to give back to the communities that have supported Minot State for so long. This scholarship assisted area students like Zack Volson of Balfour, ND, a business education major aspiring to become a school administrator.
Thank you, MSU alumni and friends!
Your gifts made all this possible and so much more.
